About Myself
Hi, my name is Wei Feng (冯巍 in Simplified Chinese). Now live and work in Melbourne (Yes, down under!) after graduated from RMIT University in 2006. You may also know me as Windix on cyber space.
Currently I am working full time as a PHP / MySQL developer at BEToptions.
I am a huge fan of open source technologies:
- Homebrew linux server in my garage running Gentoo Linux
- Mac user since 2004 (Now I own a Powerbook G4 for daily use and a Intel Mac Mini as HTPC)
- Advanced C user - I am not afraid of pointers :)
- Advanced PHP user - I treat PHP as a universal script language which can do everything
- Begin to join Ruby on Rails camp
- Started my own Chinese blog on douzi.org since 2003
- Web Standards practitioner
- Keep following and practising new techniques at the time: Unicode, Google MAP API, AJAX…
